A mysterious, broken longsword fused together with the magi-crystal curse.

The Redbeast's Edge is a rapier in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. It is one of the 8-bit Weapons, which can all be crafted with one 8-bit Coin. In addition, these weapons can be upgraded to 16-bit and then to 32-bit versions of themselves, which makes them stronger and some of them change a bit more.

Notes[]

  • The 8-bit variant has a unique ability: it starts out with almost no blade and functions like a Dagger, but grows as the player consumes different kinds of Foods and increases its ATK: with at least 30 Foods eaten, it will function like a Rapier and have an ATK of 52. The upgraded versions do not share this ability, instead being static in their attack values.
  • The whole blade of the 8-bit version will sometimes appear depending on diverse trivial actions taken by the player; and likewise, it will disappear after performing other similar actions. However, this blade is illusory and only the "dagger" part of the blade (close to the pummel) will still be the one that actually deals damage.
  • The Redbeast's Edge does not count as a Dagger, Sword or Rapier for purposes of using Techniques.
