The katana requires the recipe book Legendary Equipment/R that can be found in the Hall of Termination.

Attributes[]
The Grand Izayoi's damage can be upgraded to a maximum of 58 ATK by absorbing blood with Blood Steal. The bonus is based on the "blood absorbed" stat and does not require the player own or equip the Grand Izayoi while collecting blood.

- Can perform the Crescent Stroke technique before mastery.
Trivia[]
- Its ability to upgrade ATK through blood healing is similar to that of the Muramasa katana from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, albeit on not nearly the same scale (Muramasa's ATK could go from -5 to +999) and with simplified mechanics.
