Bournemouth v Manchester City: Gut Feelings

How Our Team See Saturday’s Match

Manchester City return to Premier League action as they travel to the south coast to face Bournemouth. The Blues face their second successive away match after losing their first match of the season at Spurs in midweek.

City have a good record at Bournemouth but the Cherries recorded a stunning 2-0 victory over Arsenal in their last match, and the depleted Blues will need to be at their best if they are to come away with the three points.

As always, our team are here to give us their views and predictions on how the match will go.

Saul

Tricky match given injuries and match congestion. Still, the standard is a win and I think City will get it.

City’s squad is down to the bare bones, and the Cherries may be looking to take advantage.

Arsenal lost 2-0 at the Vitality Stadium a few weeks ago and I expect the hosts to make it incredibly difficult for a fatigued City side.

However, I still think City will win, as they have just enough quality to grind out a win as they did in this fixture last season.

Obviously injuries are a big issue, but don’t think Pep or the squad is gonna let this team sneak up on them. Especially after the Arsenal upset.

Bournemouth 0-2 Manchester City

Pete

Going to be incredibly difficult. The Cherries will have their tails up after beating Arsenal and no doubt, they’ll fancy another scalp against an injury-hit side. I’m still going for a City win as I think some will step up to the mark and stake their claim for a regular first-team slot. This is their chance.

How We Did Against Spurs

Abysmally, I think is the word. City lost and exited the competition but it happens. Two of our guys predicted a loss and Thomas got the score absolutely bang on. Not only did Pete think it would go to penalties, but that we’d also win the shoot-out. Back to hospital for him. Here’s the table:
