This special 3-part eBird Status and Trends Workshop, attendees were introduced to the range of data provided by the eBird Status and Trends Data Products as well as the suite of tools and online training material available for working with the data.
Through a series of live examples in the R programming language, attendees learned how to download, analyze, and visualize these data products. The specific topics covered drew on the interests of the attendees, such as using the data for site selection, generating migration chronologies for a given region and species, and comparing the data products across multiple species.
