BOWLING GREEN – James R. ‘Jim’ Kinsner, native of Avon Lake, Ohio, born November 5th, 1929 passed away December 23, 2024. He is preceded in death by his wife of forty years, Noreen Viviani Kinsner, and parents Lucy Streitberger and Henry Christ Kinsner. Brother Jack Henry Kinsner and his wife, Betty Bidner. Jim was a graduate of Ohio State University, where he studied industrial engineering. He retired as a manufacturing service manager from Eaton Cutler Hammer. Jim was a sergeant in the United States Army and stationed in Germany during the Korean conflict. He was also a member of State Street United Methodist Church where he served on the Board of Trustees.

Survived by his wife, Nancy Odil Kinsner; son Dan (Jennifer) of Bowling Green; daughter, Sandy (retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Dave) Townsend of Valrico, Florida; daughter Ashley Ball Martin (John) of Versailles, Kentucky. Two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to State Street United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, Thursday, December 26, 2024 at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
