Loranger, Dach, Rocha named NAPA Auto Parts 3 Stars of the Week

Sherwood Park Crusaders forwards Jeremy Loranger and Kale Dach and Surrey Eagles forward Gavin Rocha have been named the NAPA Auto Parts 3 Stars of the Week.

1st Star – Jeremy Loranger (F) – Sherwood Park Crusaders

Loranger led all BCHL scorers with seven points in two games last week, piling up three goals and four assists as the Crusaders swept a home-and-home against their Alberta rivals the Spruce Grove Saints.

On Friday, the 2025 NHL Draft prospects notched a goal and two assists in an 11-0 victory on home ice. Loranger earned an assist in the second period to make it 3-0, then helped pile on in the third with a goal and another helper.

The following night was a much tighter affair, but the Trois-Rivières, Que. native was even more productive, scoring twice and adding a pair of assists for a four-point night in a 5-4 overtime triumph. With Sherwood Park down 1-0 in the first, Loranger scored twice before the end of the frame to give his team the lead at intermission. After earning a power-play helper in the second, he assisted on the overtime winner with just 48 seconds to play in extra time. He was named first star of the game.

Going back to last week, Loranger has 12 points in his last three games and is currently riding a five-game streak overall. He is the BCHL’s leading scorer with 54 points in 30 games.

2nd Star – Kale Dach (F) – Sherwood Park Crusaders

Dach led the league with five assists last week, adding a goal for six points in two games.

In Friday’s 11-0 win over the Spruce Grove Saints, the 2007-born forward was named first star of the game after earning a goal and three assists. One of his helpers came in the second period, while the rest of his points were part of a seven-goal Crusaders outburst in the third that grew their lead to 11.

On Saturday, Dach extended his point streak to five games by earning a pair of assists in his team’s 5-4 overtime win in the road rematch against the Saints.

The Fort Saskatchewan, Alta. product is tied for the league lead with 34 assists on the year and is second in points with 45 in 30 contests.

3rd Star – Gavin Rocha (F) – Surrey Eagles

Rocha scored twice in Surrey’s lone game last week, a 4-1 victory over the Alberni Valley Bulldogs on Friday night.

The 19-year-old opened the scoring with a goal midway through the first period, then with Surrey up 2-1 in the third, he potted a power-play marker with under five minutes to play to give his team the insurance goal en route to the win.

Despite missing a long stretch of the season, Rocha already has 18 points in 16 games on seven goals and 11 assists. His 1.13 points per game is second on the team.
