William Orr (9th Circuit)
William Orr (1881-1965) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Orr was nominated by President Harry Truman on September 10, 1945, to a seat vacated by Curtis Dwight Wilbur. He was confirmed by the Senate on September 19th, and received commission on September 28th. On January 1, 1956, he assumed senior status. He continued to serve in this capacity until his death on October 7, 1965.
