William Davis (Democratic Party) is a member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing District 30. He assumed office in 2003. His current term ends on January 8, 2025.
Davis (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Illinois House of Representatives to represent District 30. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Davis earned his B.A. in political science from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in 1989. His professional experience includes working as a Deputy District Administrator.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was December 2, 2013. Incumbent William Davis was set to face Deyon L. Dean in the Democratic primary, but Dean was removed from the ballot on January 14, 2014, leaving Davis unopposed. Davis was unchallenged in the general election.[7][8][9]

Davis and his wife, Bonita, have one child. He is a Founding Member of the Better Funding for Better Schools Coalition, and member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.[1]
