Will Guzzardi (Democratic Party) is a member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing District 39. He assumed office in 2015. His current term ends on January 8, 2025.
Guzzardi (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Illinois House of Representatives to represent District 39. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Guzzardi earned his Bachelor's in Comparative Literature from Brown University. His professional experience includes working in communications at the University of Chicago, as a reporter at Huffington Post Chicago and has tutored children in after school programs.[1]

Elections for the Illinois House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on March 18, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was December 2, 2013. Will Guzzardi defeated incumbent Maria Antonia Berrios in the Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election. James K. Muscarello (D) was removed from the ballot on January 7, 2014.[7][8][9]

2012
Guzzardi ran in the 2012 election for Illinois House of Representatives District 39. Guzzardi lost to incumbent Maria Antonia Berrios in the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012. No candidates filed to run in the Republican primary.[10][11]
The March 20 primary was separated by less than 150 votes. Guzzardi initially demanded a recount and challenged the results. However, on May 1, 2012, he conceded defeated.[12]
