Timothy Garcia was a judge on the New Mexico Court of Appeals. He was appointed to this position by Democratic Governor Bill Richardson on November 12, 2008.[1] He was elected in 2010 and retained by voters in 2016. Garcia retired from the court in February 2018.[2]
Education
Garcia received his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of New Mexico and his J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law.[3][4]
Career
Garcia was an attorney with several Santa Fe law firms until his election to the 1st Judicial District in 2002. He was a district judge until his appointment to the court of appeals.[3]
