Sven Erik Holmes (1951-present) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma.

Holmes was nominated by President Bill Clinton on September 22, 1994, to a seat vacated by James Ellison; he was confirmed by the Senate on October 7, 1994, and received commission on November 21, 1994. He served as chief judge from 2003 until he resigned on March 13, 2005.[1] Holmes was succeeded in this position by Gregory Frizzell.
