|Listening to you! I want to represent Maryland's 6th District because I understand that main street and small businesses need leaders to actually listen. Not government leaders who tell communities what they want instead of asking them what they need, while using people as political talking points during elections. Below are a set of ideas taken from my meetings and conversations with you. I believe in free and creative markets, rugged but collaborative individualism, smart government, freedom and equality for all, and a strong defense. The issues we face are rural, urban, and exist in Garrett, Allegany, Washington, Frederick, Montgomery County, Maryland, and all over the United States.
Together, we can create an MD6 that works for all, not just the well-connected or wealthy! If elected you can count on me to walk and chew gum and work to deliver for you.
- Work to balance the budget; Increase funding for L.E.O. Crisis Intervention Units; and protect a womens reproductive rights.
- Provide more efficient mental health services and investment; Won't allow recriminatory policy - especially from our gay and lesbian community.
- Provide affordable housing; Open up the primary or over 800K Independent voters in Maryland and build a new agricultural hub and affordable housing.
Agriculture, Housing, Economics, Infrastructure, Trade, and Defense.
I look up to my mom, Wanda L. Spence. She overcame toxic relationships, having me at 17, and gave up her acting career to raise me. Now she is an inventor, has her Masters degree and helping to take our family to the next level.
Truman!
Grand Expectations
Walden Pond
The ability to listen to the people and ask them what they want, instead of telling them what they need.
I want to focus all our resources on the actual community. That's why we will have community problem solving committees around the district.
To be a good partner with state and local leaders, ensuring your district, state, and the American people have what they need to thrive.
A legacy of service, creating and supporting small business, and someone you can call on when ever you need.
I was in Elementary School when the Challenger exploded. I remember the day like it was yesterday.
Blockbuster in Silver Spring, MD. Now it's torn down.
A Season In Hell and the Drunken Boat by Arthur Rimbaud.
Wiz Kid, Essence
As a family I want to make sure our communities have affordable homes, educational options, and care for our seniors.
It's one of the 3 most powerful branches in our Government and it allows leaders to make policy with their pulse on local communities and districts.
No - But they should have advocated for people on some level like myself.
We have many challenges. We need a fair and collaborative Trade Deal with Africa and South America; We need to lead the world in the development of next generation technology such as Quantum. We need to improve health care for veterans and non-veterans. Also, we need to improve wrap-around service across our community. We need to improve agriculture and preserve small and mid-sized family farms.
I do. They are on the front lines and should have more conversations with the people.
I agree with them. However, they should be 8 two year terms. Then, you can run for state or local or another office on the federal level.
Senator Ed Brooke - Republican
Senator John F. Kennedy - Democrat

Yes. Compromise and making deals are not watering down your beliefs. However, you let the country know you are a reasonable person who believes there is a place for everyone at the table.
I want to make sure ALL Americans are paying their fair share. Often, the bus driver pays more than the Wall Street executive or more than Billion dollar companies. I want everyone to participate in making sure our Democracy works or GET OUT!
To make sure there is no waste, fraud, or abuse.
