Shelly Echols (Republican Party) is a member of the Georgia State Senate, representing District 49. She assumed office on January 9, 2023. Her current term ends on January 13, 2025.

Biography
Shelly Echols was born in Gainesville, Georgia, and lives in Alto, Georgia.[1][2] Echols graduated from East Hall High School. She earned a B.S. from North Georgia College & State University (now the University of North Georgia). Echols' career experience includes founding Daniel’s Educational Tours and working as its director of human resources and a social studies teacher with East Hall High School. She has served on the Hall County Commission.[2]
