Ruben Andres Martino was a judge for the Family Court in New York. He was appointed to this position in 2003 by Mayor Michael Bloomberg. He passed away on December 11, 2020 [1].New York State Unified Court System, Biography: Hon. Ruben A. Martino.

Education

Martino received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and his J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.[1]

Career

Martino began his career in 1982 as a staff attorney for Bronx Legal Services. He then joined the Legal Aid Society in 1985, where he worked as a staff attorney (1985-1990), supervising attorney (1990-1991) and senior supervising attorney (1991-1994). In 1994, he was appointed to the Housing Court and, in 2003, he was appointed to the Family Court.[1]
