Ruben Andres Martino was a judge for the Family Court in New York. He was appointed to this position in 2003 by Mayor Michael Bloomberg. He passed away on December 11, 2020 [1].New York State Unified Court System, Biography: Hon. Ruben A. Martino.

Education

Martino received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and his J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Career

Martino began his career in 1982 as a staff attorney for Bronx Legal Services. He then joined the Legal Aid Society in 1985, where he worked as a staff attorney (1985-1990), supervising attorney (1990-1991) and senior supervising attorney (1991-1994). In 1994, he was appointed to the Housing Court and, in 2003, he was appointed to the Family Court.
