The question on the ballot:

Be it resolved by the School Board of the Ripon Area School District, Fond du Lac, Winnebago and Green Lake Counties, Wisconsin that there shall be issued pursuant to Chapter 67 of the Wisconsin Statutes, General obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $900,000 for the public purpose of paying the cost of acquiring parcels of real estate for a school site consisting of approximately 60 acres located on South Douglas Street approximately one-half mile north of the intersection with State Highway 23 located in the Ripon Area School District.[2]
