Biography
When he served in the state House, Moye had worked as a school bus driver and businessman.[1]

Moye ran for re-election in the 2012 election for West Virginia House of Delegates, District 29. Moye defeated Randall R. Wykle in the May 8 primary election and defeated Ron Hedrick in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[8][9][10]

2010
Moye was re-elected to the West Virginia House of Delegates District 27. He was one of nine candidates running for the five District 27 Delegate positions on the ballot in the November 2, 2010, general election. Moye defeated Democrat Burge Speilman in the primary. He was opposed in the general election by Democratic incumbents Virginia Mahan, Sally Matz Susman and William Wooton and Democrat Mel Kessler; Republican incumbent Linda Sumner, and Republicans Richard Franklin, John David O'Neal, and Rick Snuffer. The five top vote-getters were elected.[11][12][13]
2008
In 2008, Moye was re-elected to the West Virginia House District 27. Moye (D) finished with 15,918 votes second only to Linda Sumner (R) who had 17,218 votes. Moye was followed by William Wooton (D) with 14,962 votes, Sally Matz Susman (D) with 14,894 votes, Virginia Mahan (D) with 12,877 votes, Louis Gall (D) with 12,415 votes, Jeffrey Peck (R) with 11,313 votes, Dereck Severt (R) with 10,348 votes, Philip Stevens (R) with 9,874 votes and Kevin Honaker (R) with 9,147 votes.[14] Moye raised $17,583 for his campaign fund.[15]
