Biography
Patty Bentley was born and lives in Butler, Georgia.[1][2] Bentley earned a degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.[1]

The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Incumbent Patty J. Bentley was unopposed in the Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[7][8][9]

Bentley ran in the 2012 election for Georgia House of Representatives District 139. Bentley and Thomas Coogle defeated Michael Dinkins in the Democratic primary on July 31, 2012, moving on to a runoff on August 21. Bentley won the primary runoff.[10] No candidates filed to run in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[11][12][13]Bentley ran unopposed in the general election.[14]
