Norlin Mommsen (Republican Party) is a member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing District 70. He assumed office on January 1, 2023. His current term ends on January 1, 2025.
Mommsen (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Iowa House of Representatives to represent District 70. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Nolin Mommsen was born in Clinton, Iowa. Mommsen graduated from East Central High School in Miles, Iowa. His career experience includes working as a farmer. Mommsen has served on the board of directors of the Clinton County Farm Bureau and on the Clinton County 4-H Youth Board.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 14, 2014. Jay Saxon defeated Carl Boehl in the Democratic primary, while Norlin Mommsen was unopposed in the Republican primary. Saxon faced Mommsen in the general election.[6][7] Mommsen defeated Saxon in the general election.[8]
