Nicholas H. Politan (1935-present) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Politan was nominated by President Ronald Reagan on August 7, 1987, to a seat vacated by Herbert Stern; he was confirmed by the Senate on November 6, 1987, and received commission three days later. He retired on January 4, 2002.[1] Politan was succeeded in this position by Freda Wolfson.
