Milton Dwight Purdy (1866-1937) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
He received a recess appointment from President Theodore Roosevelt on July 6, 1908 to fill a seat vacated by William Lochren. On December 8, 1908, he was nominated. However, he was not confirmed by the Senate, so his service ended on March 3, 1909.
On March 6, 1909, he received a recess appointment from President William Howard Taft. But he resigned soon after on May 1, 1909. Purdy was succeeded in this position by Charles Andrew Willard.
