McIntosh County is located within the Atlantic Judicial Circuit of the Superior Court First District.

In addition to the Superior Court the people of McIntosh County are served by a Probate Court, a Juvenile Court, a Magistrate Court, a Municipal Court and a State Court.

The United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia has jurisdiction in McIntosh County. Appeals from the Southern District go to the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
