Margaret P. Eagles (Democratic Party) is a judge for District 10D Seat 1 of the North Carolina 10th Judicial District. She assumed office in 2009. Her current term ends on January 1, 2027.
Eagles (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for the District 10D Seat 1 judge of the North Carolina 10th Judicial District. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Judge Eagles was a 2016 candidate for the North Carolina Court of Appeals.[1] She ran to succeed Judge Martha Geer, who stepped down from the bench in May 2016. She was defeated by Hunter Murphy.
Education
Eagles received her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University in 1995 and her J.D. from Campbell University School of Law in 2000.[2][3]

Eagles ran to succeed Judge Martha Geer on the North Carolina Court of Appeals.[1] Because the seat was vacated after the primary election, no primary was held. Eagles will face Hunter Murphy and Donald R. Buie on November 8, 2016.
