This measure sought to replace the current school levy which is set to expire with one set at a rate of $2.24 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a period of four years in order to continue to pay for general maintenance and operational costs in the district.[2]

The question on the ballot:
| The Board of Directors of Mansfield School District No. 207 adopted Resolution No. 1107 concerning a proposition to finance District maintenance and operation. This proposition would authorize the District to levy the following excess taxes upon all taxable property within the District, upon expiration of the current maintenance and operation levy, to support General Fund maintenance and operations: Collection Year: 2013-2016; Approximate Levy Rate per $1000 Assessed Value: $2.24; Levy Amount: $125,000. All as specified in District Resolution No. 1107. Should this proposition be approved?[3] |
