Incumbent Lynn Wilson was unopposed in the election for District 6 on the Polk County school board. Since only one candidate filed, the election was canceled and did not appear on the ballot.
2014
The August 26, 2014 general election in Polk County featured four seats up for election. District 3 incumbent Hazel Sellers defeated challenger Randy Wilkinson. Debra Smith Wright was running for another term in District 6, but lost the seat to Lynn Wilson. Incumbent Tim Harris won re-election to District 7 after defeating challenger Lisa Bone Miller, and District 5 incumbent Kay Fields ran unopposed and won re-election.
