Luther Lee Bohanon (1902-2003) was a federal judge on the Eastern, Northern, and Western Districts of Oklahoma.
Bohanon was nominated simultaneously to all three Oklahoma District Courts by President John F. Kennedy on August 18, 1961, to a seat vacated by William Wallace; he was confirmed by the Senate on August 30, 1961, and received his commission that same day. He served as chief judge of the Western District from 1969-1972. He assumed senior status on all three courts on August 2, 1974, and served in that capacity until his death on July 18, 2003.[1] Bohanon was succeeded in this position by Harold Cook.
