Lisa Montelione is a former member of the Tampa City Council in Florida, representing District 7 from 2011 to 2016.[1]
Montelione was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 63 of the Florida House of Representatives. She was defeated by Shawn Harrison in the general election.
Montelione filed to run for District 63 of the Florida House of Representatives against Representative Shawn Harrison (R) in 2016.[2] In doing so, she had to resign her seat on the city council, effective November 8, 2016.[3]

The city of Tampa, Florida, held elections for mayor and city council on March 3, 2015. A runoff, where necessary, was scheduled for March 24, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was January 16, 2015. All seven city council seats were up for election.[8]
In District 7, incumbent Lisa J. Montelione was unopposed.[9]
