Kevin M. Forsythe was a 2016 Democratic candidate for governor of Oregon. He was defeated by incumbent governor Kate Brown.[1]
Biography
According to paperwork filed with the office of the Oregon Secretary of State, Forsythe works as a produce team associate at Walmart. Prior to that, he worked as a general manager at Burger King and Wendy's. After earning his high school diploma, he received a certificate in cooking and management from Western Culinary.[1]
Elections
2016
Forsythe ran for governor of Oregon in the 2016 special election to complete the term of Governor John Kitzhaber (D), who resigned in February 2015 and was replaced by Kate Brown (D).[1][2] In addition to Brown and Forsythe, four other candidates filed to run for governor in the Democratic primary in 2016.[1]
