She was appointed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) on December 21, 2020, and confirmed on February 4, 2021.[1][2][3]
Biography
Katherine Peretick earned an undergraduate and master's degree from the University of Michigan. Peretick's career experience includes working as the director of engineering of NRStor, Inc., and with General Compression, the U.S. Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, and the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. She served as the vice president of Advancing Women in Energy.[4]
