Education
Bell received her B.A. in political science from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, her M. Div. from Shaw University, and her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law.[1]
Career
Prior to her election as judge, Bell worked as a partner with several law firms including Gaylord Rodgers, PLLC; Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP; and Patterson, Dilthey LLP. She has also worked as an associate for Wood and Francis and an assistant district attorney with the Wake County District Attorney's Office.[1]
