Jorge L. Alonso is a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Prior to his confirmation, he was an associate judge on the Illinois Cook Judicial Circuit Court.[1][2]

On August 5, 2014, President Barack Obama nominated Alonso to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.[3] The United States Senate confirmed Alonso to the court on December 16, 2014, by a voice vote.[4]

Education

Alonso earned his B.A. from the University of Miami in 1988 and his J.D. from George Washington University Law School in 1991.[3]
