John G. Linn was a judge of District 8B of Iowa. He was appointed to this position in 1994.[1] Linn retired on December 15, 2017.[2]

Biography

Linn received his undergraduate degree and J.D. from the University of Iowa in 1973 and 1976, respectively. Below is a summary of Linn's professional experience.[1]

  • 1979-1994: Public defender, Burlington
  • 1977-1979: Attorney in private practice[1]

Linn was retained to the 8B District Court with 72.7 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [3]
