Adams is a former Democratic member of the Missouri House of Representatives. Adams represented District 86 from 2015 to 2019.
Biography
Joe Adams was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and lives in University City, Missouri. Adams served in the U.S. Air Force. His career experience includes working as a history professor with St. Louis Community College at Meramec.[1]

Elections for the Missouri House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 25, 2014. Joe Adams defeated Fareedah Sidqui, Dawn Price and Mary Ann Merz in the Democratic primary and was unopposed in the general election.[5][6][7] [8]

Adams was a Democratic candidate for District 14 of the Missouri State Senate. The primary election was on August 3, 2010 and the general election was on November 2, 2010. Adams' opponents in the August 3 primary were Ted Hoskins, Don Callaway, and Maria Chappelle-Nadal. Adams was defeated by Ted Hoskins in the Democratic primary.[9]
