Jerry Tighe (Democratic Party) ran for election to the West Virginia House of Delegates to represent District 18. Tighe lost in the Democratic primary on May 8, 2018.
Tighe was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 17 of the West Virginia House of Delegates.[1]
Biography
Jerry Tighe was born in Wheeling, West Virginia.[2] He served in the U.S. Air Force. He earned a bachelor's degree in American history from Wheeling Jesuit University, a master's degree in American history from the University of Southern Mississippi, a master's degree in social studies from Marshall University, a Juris Doctor from West Virginia University, and a doctorate in social studies from the University of Georgia.[3] Tighe's career experience includes working as a junior high teacher with Appalachian Schools and a project manager with the Wheeling Housing Authority.[2]

Chad Lovejoy and incumbent Matthew Rohrbach defeated Joe Fincham and Anne Brockus Dandelet in the West Virginia House of Delegates District 17 general election.[4][5]
