Biography
Jay Trumbull was born and lives in Panama City, Florida. Trumbull earned a degree in small business management and entrepreneurship from Auburn University in 2011. His career experience includes owning a business.[1][2]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 20, 2014. Jamie Shepard was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Jay Trumbull defeated Melissa Hagan, Thelma G. Rohan and Norman Ray Bishop in the Republican primary. Trumbull defeated Shepard, Henry Newman Lawrence III (G) and Jerry Wyche (I) in the general election.[7][8] Ryan Jack Singleton (D) withdrew before the primary.[9]
