Jason Holsman is a member of the Missouri Public Service Commission. Holsman assumed office on January 16, 2020. Holsman's current term ends on January 13, 2025.

Holsman (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Missouri State Senate to represent District 7. Holsman won in the general election on November 8, 2016.

Parson was confirmed to the Missouri Public Service Commission on January 16, 2020, following his appointment by Gov. Mike Parson.[1]

Holsman is also a former Democratic member of the Missouri State Senate and represented District 7. He was first elected to the chamber in 2012 and served in the Senate until his appointment as public service commissioner in 2020.

Holsman served in the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 45 from 2007 to 2013.

Biography

Holsman attended the University of Missouri, Columbia, and earned his B.A. in political science/United States History from the University of Kansas and M.A. in Diplomacy/Military Science from Norwich University. His professional experience includes working on the staff of Senator John Ashcroft, as a Political Correspondent for Suburban Journals, and as a baseball coach, football coach, and social studies instructor at Van Horn High School.
