James F. X. Doyle was a judge for the Suffolk County Court in New York. He served in this position from 2003 until his term ended in 2012, when he reached the mandatory retirement age. He also served as an acting justice for the Suffolk County Supreme Court.[1][2][3]
Education
Doyle received his B.A. degree from the College of the Holy Cross in 1964, his J.D. degree from the Fordham University School of Law, and his M.A. degree from Stony Brook University in 1983.[1]
Career
Doyle worked as an associate of Cordes Percell in Mineola, NY. He became a judge of the Suffolk County Family Court in 1984. He then served as an Acting Justice of the Suffolk County Supreme Court from 1993 to 2002. In 2003, he was elected to the Suffolk County Court, where he served until 2012.[1]
2011 election

Doyle ran unsuccessfully for election to the New York Supreme Court 10th Judicial District on November 8. He received 9.65% of the vote, failing to secure one of the 10 positions on the ballot for this court.[4][5][6]
