Henry Franklin Severens (1835-1923) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit and the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan. Severens passed away on June 8, 1923.

Judicial nominations and appointments
Sixth Circuit
Severens was nominated by President William McKinley on February 6, 1900. He was confirmed by the Senate on February 20, 1900, and received commission that same day. He resigned on October 3, 1911.[1]
Western District of Michigan
Severens was nominated by President Grover Cleveland on May 14, 1886. He was confirmed by the Senate on May 25, 1886, and received commission that same day. He served on this court until March 16, 1900.[1] Severens was succeeded in this position byGeorge Wanty.
