The city of Tampa, Florida, held elections for mayor and city council on March 3, 2015. A runoff took place on March 24, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was January 16, 2015. All seven city council seats were up for election.[1]

In the general election for District 6, candidates Guido Maniscalco and Jackie Toledo advanced past Thomas Clark Castellano. Maniscalco defeated Toledo in the runoff election on March 24, 2015.[2] District 6 incumbent Charlie Miranda ran for the District 2 seat.[3]
