George Seabrook Bryan (1809-1905) was also a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.[1]

He was nominated by President Andrew Johnson on February 9, 1866. He was confirmed by the Senate on March 12, 1866, and received commission that same day. He retired on September 1, 1886.[1] Bryan was succeeded in this position by Charles Henry Simonton. Bryan passed away on September 28, 1905.
