George Pataki presidential campaign key staff and advisors, 2016
George Pataki was a Republican candidate for the office of president of the United States in 2016.
Pataki made several trips to New Hampshire at the end of 2014, stating he was "very seriously" considering a run for president.[1] On May 28, 2015, he announced his presidential bid via a video posted on his campaign website, before speaking to a crowd of supporters in New Hampshire.[2][3] The Boston Globe reported on December 29, 2015, that Pataki contacted "key" supporters in New Hampshire to inform them that he was suspending his presidential campaign.[4]
Pataki served as the governor of New York for three terms between 1995 and 2007.[5] Pataki has since worked for the law firm, Chadbourne & Parke LLP, and founded a consulting firm with his former Chief of Staff John Cahill.[6][7] Pataki suspended his presidential run on December 29, 2015.[8]

Alicia Preston was employed by We the People, Not Washington PAC, a super PAC in support of George Pataki. Super PACs may not contribute directly to a politician or political party but can spend independently to advocate for or against candidates.
