George Franklin Morris (1866-1953) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire. He joined the court in 1921 after an appointment from Warren Harding. At the time of his appointment, Morris was a private practice attorney in New Hampshire. On April 30, 1943, he assumed senior status. He served until his death on March 25, 1953.[1][2]

Judicial nominations and appointments

District of New Hampshire

Morris was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire. He was nominated by President Warren Harding on October 20, 1921 to replace Edgar Aldrich. He was confirmed by the Senate on October 25th, and received commission that same day. On April 30, 1943, he assumed senior status. He served until his death on March 25, 1953. Morris was succeeded in this position by Aloysius Joseph Connor.[1]
