First Judicial District, Tennessee
The First Judicial District is one of 32 judicial districts in Tennessee and has jurisdiction in Carter, Johnson, Unicoi, and Washington counties.[1]
The First Judicial District has three trial courts in its boundaries: a circuit court, a chancery court, and a criminal court.[1]
