Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee, Connecticut General Assembly
The Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee is a joint standing committee of the Connecticut General Assembly and contains members of the Senate and the House. In the Connecticut Legislature, there are no separate chamber committees.

Per each chamber's rules, committees of the Connecticut General Assembly are assigned by the President of the Senate and Speaker of the House. Committees are assigned by the fifth regular session day of the first year of the term.[1][2] The President Pro Tempore of the Senate, Speaker of the House, and the majority and minority leaders of the Senate and the House are considered ex officio members of all committees.[3]

“ | The Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee has jurisdiction over all matters relating to finance, revenue, capital bonding, fees and taxation. The committee also has cognizance over employer contributions for unemployment compensation and all matters relating to the Department of Revenue Services and the revenue aspects of the Division of Special Revenue.[4][5] | ” |
