I looked up to my grandmother, Aldine Weems. She was a woman of action. She was a pillar in the community and worked as an advocate for the underprivileged. She supported equal rights' for women, healthcare and nutrition for low income senior and pregnant women.

I follow my grandmother's example because she was a woman of integrity with a golden heart that loved all people.

An elected official should be trustworthy with a strong sense of values and morals for all people.

Innocent by Circumstances~Eugene L. Weems

After time served, I was homeless and disconnected from life. As I stood in the middle of San Bernardino, a city unknown to me with no resources and a feeling of hopelessness. My mind began to venture back into the unconventional ways of survival.

God put in my heart that I am here for a purpose. My desire to live and give myself a chance is what change the direction of my mind. I have overcome the mental struggles of poverty.

It is not necessary to have previous experience in politics to express what is right or wrong.
