Ernest Aloysius O'Brien (1880-1948) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
He was nominated by President Herbert Hoover on February 26, 1931 to fill a seat created by 46 Stat. 1197. He was confirmed by the Senate on March 2nd, and received commission on March 4th. He served on this court until his death on October 9, 1948.[1] O'Brien was succeeded in this position by Thomas Thornton.
