Eric Mattson was born and lives in Joliet, Illinois. Mattson graduated from Joliet Catholic High School. He earned a bachelor's degree from Lewis University. Mattson's career experience includes working as a firefighter. He has served as the president of the Joliet Firemen’s Pension Board of Trustees and the union president from Joliet Fire Officers Local 2399.[1][2][3]
