TRENTON,New Jersey: Democratic Assemblywoman Grace Spencer has proposed a bill that would prevent heavy pollution sites from moving into the poorest areas of New Jersey.[1]
The bill would require new pollution sites that wanted to operate in an area already heavily polluted to undergo a more extensive environmental impact report. In addition, the governing body of the municipality would have the final say in approving the site.[1]
