Gonzalez (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Illinois House of Representatives to represent District 23. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Edgar Gonzalez Jr. was born in Chicago, Illinois.[1] Gonzalez graduated from Whitney M. Young Magnet High School in 2015. He earned a bachelor's degree in government from Harvard University in 2019. Gonzalez's career experience includes working as a constituency services liaison to Congressman Jesús "Chuy" García, an editorial cartoonist with The Harvard Crimson, and a staff writer with the Harvard Political Review.[1][2]
