Douglas McDonald was a senior judge of the Seventh District of Iowa. He was appointed to the bench on April 1, 1988, and retired to senior status on November 6, 2007.

Education

McDonald received his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He earned his J.D. from Drake University.

Career

Before becoming an associate district judge, McDonald spent time as a private practice attorney, 20 years of which were focused on labor relations.
