A Douglas County Hospital District No. 2 Levy proposition was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Douglas County, which is in Washington, where it was approved.
This proposition authorized the Douglas County Hospital District No. 2 to levy a property tax of $65,000 amounting to a collection of approximately $0.40 per $1,000 of assessed valuation for the tax year of 2013. This tax is in excess of the regular rate and will be used to finance maintenance and operation of Waterville Clinic and Ambulance facilities and equipment.[1]

“ | The Douglas County Hospital District No. 2 (Waterville Clinic and Ambulance) Board of Commissioners adopted Resolution #63 on July 18, 2012, containing a proposition to finance maintenance and operation. This proposition would authorize the district to levy excess taxes upon all taxable property within the district in the sum of $65,000, requiring collection of approximately $0.40 per $1,000 of assessed valuation in 2013.
